Managing Your Teacher Plan

Everything you need to know about switching plans, understanding your billing cycle, and cancelling your LearnSpace teacher subscription.

Understanding Your Plan

LearnSpace offers three teacher plan tiers. All plans include access to the full app suite — MyFeedback Pro, Word Wand, and Monster Maths Lab — with differences in class size limits, collaboration features, and support levels.

Plan Options

  • Classroom — For individual kaiako managing a single class.
  • Team — For small groups of teachers wanting to collaborate and share learner data within a syndicate or team.
  • Kaiako Pro — Full-featured plan with advanced analytics, priority support, and expanded customisation.

All pricing is in NZD and includes GST.

Switching Plans

You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time:

  1. Navigate to Settings > Subscription from your dashboard.
  2. Select Change Plan.
  3. Choose your new plan tier.
  4. Confirm the change.

When upgrading, the new plan takes effect immediately and you are charged the pro-rated difference for the remainder of your billing cycle. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period.

Billing Cycle

  • Your billing cycle starts on the date your trial ends.
  • You are billed monthly on the same date each month.
  • Receipts are emailed automatically and available in Settings > Billing History.
  • All charges appear on your statement as "LearnSpace NZ".

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. You can update your card details in Settings > Payment Method at any time.

Cancelling Your Subscription

If you need to cancel:

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.
  2. Select Cancel Subscription.
  3. Confirm your cancellation.

Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. Student data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, giving you time to reactivate if needed. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

Before You Cancel

  • If cost is a concern, consider downgrading to the Classroom plan rather than cancelling entirely.
  • If your kura is considering a school-wide subscription, contact us — we can pause your individual billing while the school evaluates options.
  • You can export student progress data from Settings > Data Export before cancelling.
