Using LearnSpace on Your Own Terms

You do not need to wait for your kura to adopt LearnSpace. Any kaiako in Aotearoa New Zealand can subscribe independently and start using our NZ Curriculum-aligned apps with their class right away.

How Independent Subscriptions Work

When you sign up for a LearnSpace teacher plan, your account is entirely yours. You manage your own classroom, students, and billing. If your school later decides to roll out LearnSpace across the staff, your account can be merged into the school-wide subscription — you will not lose any data or progress.

Choosing the Right Plan

LearnSpace offers three plan tiers for teachers:

• Classroom — Ideal for a single kaiako managing one class of learners.
• Team — Designed for a small group of teachers who want to collaborate and share resources.
• Kaiako Pro — Full access with advanced reporting, priority support, and additional customisation options.

All plans start with the same 7-day trial for $2 NZD (GST inclusive), so you can explore before committing.

What You Can Do Without School Support

As an independent subscriber, you can:

• Create and manage your classroom with student profiles.
• Assign activities across MyFeedback Pro, Word Wand, and Monster Maths Lab.
• Track learner progress through your teacher dashboard.
• Access NZ Curriculum-aligned content for Years 1–8.
• Share progress reports with whānau directly from your account.

Talking to Your Leadership Team

If you find LearnSpace valuable, we provide resources to help you make the case to your principal or board. From your dashboard, you can generate a usage summary showing learner engagement and curriculum alignment — useful evidence for professional learning discussions or budget requests.

Your Data Stays With You

Whether you remain independent or your kura adopts LearnSpace later, your classroom data, student progress, and settings are preserved throughout any transition.
