Managing Your Family Plan
Everything you need to know about switching plans, updating billing details, and cancelling your LearnSpace NZ subscription.

Accessing Your Plan Settings
To manage your LearnSpace subscription:
- Log in to your parent account.
- Go to Settings and select Plan and Billing.
From here you can view your current plan, see your next billing date, update payment details, and make changes to your subscription.
Switching Plans
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time.
Upgrading
If your whānau is growing or you need more child profiles, you can upgrade from Solo to Family, or from Family to Whānau. When you upgrade:
- The change takes effect immediately.
- You will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period.
- All existing child profiles and progress data are preserved.
Downgrading
If you need fewer profiles, you can downgrade to a smaller plan. When you downgrade:
- The change takes effect at the start of your next billing period.
- You may need to remove child profiles if your current number exceeds the new plan's limit.
- Progress data for removed profiles will be permanently deleted.

Updating Payment Details
To update your credit or debit card:
- Go to Settings then Plan and Billing.
- Select Update Payment Method.
- Enter your new card details.
- Save your changes.
All prices are in NZD and include GST.
Cancelling Your Subscription
If you need to cancel:
- Go to Settings then Plan and Billing.
- Select Cancel Subscription.
- Confirm your cancellation.
What Happens When You Cancel
- Your whānau retains access until the end of the current billing period.
- After that, child profiles become read-only — you can still view progress data, but the apps will no longer be accessible.
- Your account and data are retained for 90 days in case you decide to resubscribe. After 90 days, data is permanently deleted.
Cancelling During the Trial
If you cancel within your 7-day trial period, you will not be charged beyond the $2 NZD trial fee. Access continues until the trial period ends.
