Cancel or Change Your Plan
Find out how to switch between LearnSpace NZ subscription tiers, cancel your plan, and understand what happens to your data.

Understanding Your Subscription
All LearnSpace NZ plans begin with a 7-day trial for just $2 NZD (GST inclusive). This gives you full access to our apps — MyFeedback Pro, Word Wand, and Monster Maths Lab — so you can see how they support your tamariki before committing to a full subscription.
After the trial, your plan will automatically continue at the tier you selected during sign-up. You can change or cancel at any time from your account settings.
Changing Your Plan
To switch between subscription tiers:
- Log in to your LearnSpace account.
- Navigate to Account Settings and select Subscription.
- Choose the plan you would like to move to and confirm.
When Changes Take Effect
- Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately. You will be charged the pro-rated difference for the remainder of your current billing period.
- Downgrading to a lower tier takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You will keep access to your current tier's features until then.
Cancelling Your Plan
If LearnSpace is no longer the right fit, you can cancel from the same Subscription page in your account settings. Select Cancel Plan and follow the prompts.
After cancellation:
- You retain access to your current plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for.
- Your account is not deleted. You can log in and reactivate at any time.
What Happens to Your Data
We take data retention seriously. When you cancel:
- Your tamariki's progress, reports, and saved work are kept for 90 days after your plan expires.
- After 90 days, data is permanently deleted in line with the NZ Privacy Act 2020.
- You can request an export of your data at any point before deletion by contacting our support team.
