Logging In and Resetting Your Password

Learn how to log in to LearnSpace NZ, reset a forgotten password, and verify your email address to get started.

Logging In to LearnSpace

To access LearnSpace NZ and your learning apps, visit learnspace.nz and select Log In from the top navigation bar.

Enter the email address and password you used when you created your account. If you are a kaiako (teacher) managing tamariki accounts, use the credentials provided during your school or kura setup.

Staying Logged In

LearnSpace keeps you logged in for 30 days on trusted devices. If you are using a shared or public device, we recommend logging out after each session to keep your account secure.

Resetting a Forgotten Password

If you have forgotten your password, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Log In page and select Forgot password?
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  3. Check your inbox for a password reset email from LearnSpace NZ.
  4. Click the reset link in the email and choose a new password.

The reset link is valid for 24 hours. If you do not receive the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. If it still has not arrived, contact our support team for assistance.

Choosing a Strong Password

Your new password must be at least 8 characters long. We recommend using a mix of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid reusing passwords from other services.

Verifying Your Email Address

When you first create a LearnSpace account, we send a verification email to confirm your address. You will need to click the verification link before you can access your apps.

If the verification email has not arrived:

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Ensure you entered the correct email during sign-up.
  • Select Resend verification email from the login page.

Whānau members who have been invited to a family plan will receive a separate invitation email with instructions to set up their own login.
