What Are Custom Apps?

LearnSpace builds NZ Curriculum-aligned apps for primary schools. If you have an idea for a tool that would help your classroom or kura, you can submit a custom app enquiry.

Custom apps are developed based on educator demand — we prioritise ideas that serve multiple NZ schools and align with Te Mātaiaho.

How to Submit an Enquiry

Teachers

1. Log in to the member area
2. Open Custom Apps in the sidebar (or go to /app/teacher/custom-apps)
3. Describe your idea, the year levels it would serve, and how it fits your teaching

School Administrators

1. Log in as a school admin
2. Open Custom Apps (or go to /app/school/custom-apps)
3. Include your kura name, roll size, and whether the app would be school-wide

What Happens Next

Our team reviews enquiries and may follow up for more detail. Not every idea becomes an app immediately — we group similar requests and prioritise based on curriculum alignment and demand across NZ kura.
